Wow, obviously I have not been to the site in awhile, so I was shocked to see this. I would hate to see the forum go. I am dedicating myself to coming back more often, posting, and clicking ads!
I just don't see Twitter as a good alternative. It has it's place, but it's not the best place for serious, in-depth discussion.
