Default Barea for Ilyasova + 2nd

Now that all the fun is over, the Mavericks might as well start tweaking their team to maximize what they've got. No low-post scoring threat; no all star shooting guard--but also no back up power forward.

Milwaukee has four power forwards, our old friend Dwight Gooden, Ersan Ilyasova, Luc Mbah a Moute and rookie Larry Sanders. Milwaukee doesn't have a back up point guard, so:

Jose Juan Barea for Ersan Ilyasova and a 2nd round draft choice.

Iyasova averaged about 10 points and 6 rebounds in about 23 minutes per game, he works hard and ought to be capable of backing up Dirk and maybe taking a few minutes at the 3 in a big line up or the 5 in a small line up. He has two years left on his contract and earns a little more than J.J., which is why I hope to get a 2nd from Milwaukee in the deal.

J.J. should be an adequate back up guard for Milwaukee, and Dallas may as well commit to playing Beaubois as the back up. In an emergency, Jason Terry could play the point--after all he was the point guard on the 2006 championship team.
