Honestly feel like we have only two choices.

1) Swing for the fences. Maybe win. Maybe lose. Make a KP-like move with all the rest of our assets. Really try to go big. If it fails, we not only move into obscurity, but we do do without half of our FRPs between now and 2030, but at least we tried. Might succeed, but honestly if Luka is having tantrums, no roster around him would perform at their peak.

2) Sell the farm. See what we can get for Luka, SD, Wood, Bullock, etc. Powell has value as an expiring/ballast. Build around Hardy and get some other FRPs to do so. If we do it soon, we could end up in the high lottery and 1-10, we keep our 2023 pick in a fairly deep draft. We wouldn't be the Pelicans and Thunder with tons of picks, but we could at least reset and try to get someone young that can play.

If we make small moves, Luka will continue to be a cancer on the team with his attitude. We will either underperform based on locker room chemistry, or Luka will demand a trade anyway and it will get uglier and his value will be reduced. We are literally in the worst position of any NBA team outside of the Lakers-- we're good enough to have a bad lottery pick but not good enough to be a threat in the playoffs and we are tapped out in both tax space and trade assets-- stuck in an awful purgatory between win-now and rebuilding-- with a doomsday clock ticking even if we were happy with being 7-9th seed for the next couple of years.
