yeah, the crazy twist ending can be great when done right (as somebody above mentioned, Shawshank's strength was subtelity. See "Wild Things" for the other side of that coin, though).

I thoroughly enjoyed Dances with Wolves 1st time through, though I liked it much better the first time as . . . Little Big Man.

Little Big Man was perhaps the greatest "Living with the Indians" movie ever.
