Arguing about announcers is more like arguing about your favorite comedian or musician. It's totally different depending on what your taste is. Some people like hard metal, some people like jimmy buffet. Some people find Charles to be an idiot, some people find him to be hilarious. Some find him to be both. It's their opinion. Just like your favorite color.

Sorry, but it is a WIDELY held opinion that Mark Jackson is a terrible announcer. You can hold the opinion that he's not, but it is simply a fact that he is one of the most loathed announcers in the NBA.
