God knows I understand this sentiment, but this is at least much more realistic than all the Lebron/Wade talk we all engaged in over the summer (which, let's face it, was an absolute pipe-dream from day 1.)
The difference here is that Paul isn't a free agent, and therefore it's not up to him to decide where he goes. It's just gonna come down to who out there can give NO the best offer. I'm by no means saying that the Mavs are gonna be that team, but it's at least
possible. The Mavs are at least in the running for Paul. They were never in the running for Lebron or Wade. Not for a second.
