Bought out by the Wolves, signed by Mavs at minimum. Have not seen details of the buyout from the Wolves. But since it was widely known the Mavs would sign him for the minimum, JJ likely agreed to subtract the minimum from what the Wolves had to pay him. If that is the case, he would still make 4.5 mil, with around 3.5 being paid by the Wolves, and close to 1 mil paid by the Mavs.
