Well a large part of it doesn't matter if it fails because Cuban did get Luka another all-star. You can't say he didn't try now. It was just a perfect deal at the perfect time with the right amount of assets type of situation.
Again, how many times will we ever see the Mavs winning a trade for a superstar over the Lakers, Clippers, and Suns?
