which one did you get, U2?
In researching online, I think I've narrowed it down to the Panasonic SDR-H200 and the Sony DCR-SR200. Both in my price range, and both at Best Buy (got a lot of gift cards to use). The Panasonic is a 3CCD camera, while the Sony is CMOS. both have pros/cons. this is looking like a tough call.
