If Menendez is convicted, there's always the possibility that he might appeal the decision. Appeals can be based on a number of factors, as shown
here, including potential jury bias or misconduct during the trial. It's important that our justice system remains fair and impartial, guaranteeing that even those in power are held accountable without prejudice. That's what I hope for, at least.
