OKC is really well-run org though so I wouldn't be questioning their motives. I'm glad they are good trading partners with us as we need as many as we can get.

Cuban burned some bridges back in the day and hopefully new FO and ownership will mend those.

Someone on r/Mavericks pointed out, and I can't believe nobody else has noticed this yet- Jason Kidd is now the first coach in Mavericks history to reach the Western Conference Finals twice.

It might be an unpopular opinion but Kidd has won the coaching battle in the last two series. He forced both teams to play a style that favored the Mavs.

Yeah Nico finally gave the Mavs some strengths and Kidd maximized it.

We're back in the WCF which is great, but when you look at how Luka and Kyrie are underperforming, it's clear that Kidd has done something special.

Yep I mentioned this a few days ago

The problem.is kidd is not well liked here so no one has bothered to praise him for such a feat.

Most fans wanted him fired and probably still do 😂

But Kidd is a solid coach imo and he tends to relate to players much better than Rick ever did

This is where you give huge credit to coaching because you're taking advantage of Luka not being super mobile due to being hurt. Just use his size to cover an area. Don't have him running all over the court for assignments.
