Cowboys - Giant GDT
Figured someone needed to start this so we aren't posting in five different threads.

McCann looks like he might be a find. He certainly has looked much better on kickoffs than anything we've seen in a while. That pick-six was at least a good sign that he might be able to contribute defensively too.

I'm glad the boys are playing with heart, but I really want them to lose every game here on out. It's a very strange feeling.

That must be strange. I don't know if I could ever feel that way. I absolutely could not bear to watch their effort last week. I would rather see them try and fail then to not try at all. If they end up with the first pick in the draft, having given their all, great. Otherwise, they may lose my viewership for a while.
Surprisingly nice play by Scandrick.

I responded to that in the other thread, but I don't think you really want that. Much better to see some actual fight out of your team than needing to overhaul your roster in the offseason.

The game isn't over yet. But, it's pretty amazing that these are basically the same Giants and the same Cowboys we saw play against each other not too long ago.

Even though the team has been awful this year, I think it's fair to say that Dez has more than lived up to his hype.

The sky is the limit with this kid. He's just a born playmaker.

That play epitomizes the difference between last week and this week. No way the Cowboys get that stop last week.

Bryant almost had that one.. I'd take that gamble, too, if I were Kitna.

Ugh... Buehler... Seriously, did anyone here really think you'd be missing Nick Folk this year?

I thought it was a real possibility going into this season. I didn't really agree with cutting Folk last year, and I still don't. I think that guy is going to be a solid kicker for a long time in the league. His younger brother is probably going to be good, too. Perhaps, the Cowboys should draft him.
Alan Ball, where have you been all year?

He's had a decent year, but he missed three field goals himself today.

You know you had a crazy day when even Alan Ball found a way to make himself useful.

I saw a lot of smiling Cowboys congratulate Garrett at the end of that game.
The jury's still out on him, but not a bad way to start...

The jury's gonna be out on him for a long time (at least as far as I'm concerned) but the job is definitely his to lose at this point.

Not a bad way to start, indeed. It's pretty unbelievable to me that the Cowboys beat the Giants, in New York, no less. I shuddered at the thought of the Cowboys having to play them last week.

On demeanor alone I allready like Garrett better than Cowher. You can be authoritative and hold your players accountable without screaming and meanmugging like a clown all the time. I think Garrett has a great shot now to keep the job. Win the Lions game and maybe two of the late games with Romo back and that should be enough. If that would be a good or bad thing I´m not sure.
