A Cuban tantrum should distract our 3rd national TV audience (in 8 years) from our lack of a bench (uh, close your mouth Calvin.... ).

The Dallas Morning News website is tearing Cuban apart.... Much like the rest of the nation, now even Dallas loyalists are turning their backs on our deluded leader. I read today that we dont even have a first round draft pick in the coming draft!!! HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET A DECENT BENCH with no decent draft picks? (Cuban... Buy us a bench....PLEEEASEEEEE....)

Well the upside is that Juwan is a rebounding MONSTER, Eisley is developing nicely on the bench (Hey, DNP's build confidence for young multi-million-dollar men) and Old VernMax had his wife beating prison sentence deferred.

C'mon Cuban, your shirt said it was PAYBACK TIME!..... Just when does that start?

MAVS in 2001!

actually, anyone that ever thought juwan was a mediocre rebounder at best is dillusional. that goes along with his defense also...pathetic. that was obvious the first time i saw him play for the mavs

however, i do not believe that as a whole, the mavs fans are turning on cuban. yes, they do wish that he would calm it down..but they realize that he's a great job so far.

i do appreciate your sarcasm... your just lacking on the wit end

I will never turn my back on Cuban. I love the fact that we have an owner that doesn't take shit off of anyone. No one should ever be ashamed of that. The shear fact that we have an owner who is willing to shell out cash for good talent, bullshit with the fans, have enough money to buy and sell the Utah owner and his entire family, bounce at a night club for a hobby, and still make it a point to harrass the officials just speaks volumes for the teams youthful enthusiasm. I've come to the conclusion that everyone who dogs Cuban is just jealous that they don't have him.

Mavs-whiner: If the Mavs hadn't traded away their first round pick this year - it would be about the 23rd pick. A player picked there isn't gonna solve any of the Mavs problems (sorry Donnell Harvey). Everyone in the NBA draft now is 18 years old and can't even contribute right away. Ask the Bulls how well their rebuilding process is going. The Mavs will upgrade their bench though, through trades and aquisitions.

Buy a bench? How do you think all teams get their bench players? Obviously Jazz reserves like john Crotty steal from parking metres to pay the bills.
