GDT: Mavericks @ Hornets 11/4/2009 8:30CST
I'm still on a high from last night. I have to say, I don't feel very good about this game. Emotional win last night, Dirk has to be drained, Mavs are short handed.
But if anyone can pull it out, it's Dirk.
Go Mavs!

We just need to start hitting shots and we will be fine. that fourth quarter may have been the wake-up call we needed.

If we win this one, we'll blow our underdog status for the season...

Lets send the little bitch and the big bitch to 1-4!
I hope Ross can play tonight, we need him against Paul.
And never thought our defense would be so good and our offense would be the problem...

As always, the Whorenets will play out of their minds and act as though the world is against them, slapping their chests and sending shout outs to the crowd that no one can hold them in their house.. I don't see us winning this but it would be nice to not look like a bunch of slow idiots on the court. And someone knock the living s out of R2D2 please.
GO MAVS!

Thats like a Top3 "We need Ross" game. Hope he can play.
No game for Roddy: Homecourt NO, he is a rookie, Paul the starlet. Roddy would get hammered with 6 fouls in 5mins because he slightly touched Paul 6 times...

That's more like it. So are you going to stick around and celebrate if this is a win, or do only plan on being here after a loss to rub salt in the wound?

It would be cool to get a pm of every original post that gets Moderated Like a mass pm of unedited posts... They are usually pretty good.

Because the Jazz don't have Chris Paul, who will invariably play ridiculously well against the Mavs and cause them to look "soft" on national television.
Honestly, I wish the Mavs weren't on national tv ever. They just don't seem to do well there.

Mavs are #2 in the league at defensive efficiency. Lets see if we can clamp down and grind this one out.

time for our offense to start knocking down some shots!
The utah game was the first time in 2.5 years that we wona game while shooting less than 40% (last one was in march 2007 - we had been 0-23 since in games <40% shooting)

If they are asleep for the first 3 quarters as they seemed to be in Utah, it will be a much larger hole that 16 to come back from with Charlotte. Maybe the Mavs can find the rim early for a change.
They have won every game I have been able to watch. Let's keep that streak ALIVE!

Love this bit. The 4th quarter defense was amazing. It's like someone flipped a switch that turned on energy, intensity, and focus. Dirk's crazy offense obviously won the game, but once Utah was forced to start taking jumpshots (that weren't falling), it was pretty much decided.
Back to the pressing question... who is the CP3 stopper tonight?

If the mavs lose this game it would probably only because Chris Paul went NUTS.
