PGT: Mavs play 5-on-8 and beat Cavs/Refs
Dirk 12 away from #7 alltime.
Rondo played some good D. Got comfortable throwing oops to Chandler.
Ellis is a beast
Aminu finally played and had a nice night. Some good D and rebounds. Some promising but rough offense.
Jefferson with a HUGE 11pts on 3/3 from 3.
Refs were putrid. Like 2005 Finals putrid. I'm just glad this team can still win with refs that lopsided.
Mavs undefeated this year. Rondo joined the team with us in #6. Now we're tied for #3

Something weird is going on with that team. I wonder if everyone just gave up after Varajao went down.
And once again...Love with a great game stats-wise...team loses.

Stat of the day. Rondo holds Irving to 2/9 (22%) from the field and 3 assists. Kyrie averages 20 points per game. Rondo held him to 6. That has to be near his career low.

Career low for him is 0. Happened last season on 20 minutes of play. 0-9

Rondo has really buckled down on D since he came to Dallas, hasn't he?

Considering that he averaged 27pts, 9ast, 3reb and 40% from three last year against us

He goes up against D-Will and Chris Paul this week.

And just like that we're 16th in the league in defensive rating. We were in the low-mid 20s at the Rondo trade.
We're making improvements in that area. If only we could rebound haha.

Big tests for sure, especially against Paul, to see him matching up against a good PG with a good team.

We seemed focus for the whole 48 mins. That's rare and it was awesome. What I loved most though was the efficiency and more so the ball movement. Not just the 30 assists on 46 FGs, which I love. But besides the times when we isolated Dirk or Monta (which are both historically high percentage plays for us) the ball was ALWAYS moving. Offense was never stagnant today.

I watched his pre-game presser. That is one beat down looking dude. How old is he, about sixty?

I would never, ever take Irving over Rondo. The guy just refuses to play defense even though he has the athleticism and capabilities to do it.

Did anyone catch if there were some nice interaction between Trix and some of his former teammates? I saw when he embraced RC after the game, but couldn't watch the first half.
It was kind of a 2011 reunion. Haywood, Trix, Tyson, JJ, Dirk. And Miller...
By the way where was LeBron? He's injured, but he wasn't there in his suit?

Yeah, more like Jarrett Jack. They've won 6 of 7 since they dumped Williams as the starter.
Also, Brooklyn is down at Miami tonight. Looks like both teams will be flying back to New York tonight for the second of a B2B tomorrow. Our early game will actually get us back in time earlier than them, too.

Funny thing is, Cavs twitter was furious about the no-calls against Kevin Love. I agree that it was a pretty poorly-officiated game, though.

5 wins to getting 20 above .500 right now. If the Mavs can get 20 over and stay there. We can be settle for a top 4 spot in the west.

Yeah, I know. It was a cheap shot at Dwill.
