From Staff Reports
Bamba Fall, a 7-foot center from Oak Hill Academy in Mouth of Wilson, Va., said he has made an oral commitment to SMU.
Oral commitments are nonbinding. The first day basketball recruits can sign national letters of intent is Nov. 10.
Fall is the first commitment under new men's coach Jimmy Tubbs. Fall, who is from Senegal, said Sunday night he picked SMU over Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Clemson.
Over the summer, Fall played for Team Texas, an AAU team.
