Just got done watching game 1. Mekel was the best player on the floor without question. HE could have had 9-10 assists, but the fantastic passes ended up with a lot of bricks and stupid moves. It'll be fun to watch him today.

We really have no shooters on the team and without James we have very little inside presence. Crowder is out second biggest guy out there a lot of the time.

Mekel is special though. He drives well. He moves with purpose. He reminds me. Lot of early Jason Kidd before he had a jumper, but his ability to spiral around the pain to reset defenses is all Nash. I wanna see him next to some shooters like Dirk and Ellington.
