tonight, Zito and Thomson are matching up in a classic pitcher's battle
through 6, it's knotted up at 1. Highlights, solo homerun for palmeiro to tie it up in the 5th Back to back hits off of Thomson earlier in the game (both on good pitches) Thomson has struck out 7 through 6 innings. He has given up 7 hits, but most have been on good pitches..a couple have been broken bat hits |

Only watched a couple innings sporadically, but Thomson looked pretty decent.
Still..we lost 2-1 |

Thomson was looking pretty good before I chose to switch over to the Dallas Girls' Varsity Squad game in the Staples Center.

John Thompson is finally living up to his potential. I'm very happy for him. He always said he could do it too, just needed to stay healthy.

Fultz is nice to have, but it's too early to call him the best acquisition of the year.
