I mean how many players who arn't worth a crap still have rings because they were sitting the end of the bench of a champianship team. They still have rings don't they. Being part of a champianship team is special but it is not really always a true reflection of a players worth to his team. Although now the media trys to say that if you don't have a ring you are less than someone who does. Realistically it's all part of a media hype.

Yep, you looking at Mitch Richmond, Isaiah Rider, the Laker rings did not define their careers. Maybe personally, but legend wise, it doesn't. Ron Artest sold his. Rider's running around with a newborn, but wishes he was still playing. Rings are media driven, Adam Morrison celebrating in a suit.....but it didn't take away from their careers, I mean GP, Malone, we still remember the elbows, knees, the steals, Richmond on the low block time after time, giving MJ a battle.
