Suggest Other Mavericks News Sites
Now that db.com has premium contented itself out of existence, what are the best substitutes?
I already visit BGMaverick's great site http://www.mavsmoneyball.com/
Any others worth checking out to replace Fisher's greedy, shortsighted Mavs news site?
In particular I'm looking for a site reporters with enough balls not to let Rick Carlisle get away with lying about the health of his players or refusing to tell fans and media when or whether or not at all they'll be healthy enough to play.

Rob doesn't post as much as he used to, though.

Maybe with db.com out of the way, since there's a void to fill, they'll be more motivated?

Rob Mahoney writes for at least three different major basketball blogs, if not more (including one for the New York Times).
It's not lack of motivation on his part.
I do wish he posted more to TwoMan, but I understand why.

It seems like all of the major Dallas Mavs reporters are afraid of Carlisle. Sefko, Fish, and Caplan have all complained about his attitude towards them. You guys should send him up here to Philadelphia so he can appreciate the kowtowing the Dallas reporters/media does for him.

FYI, it's not my site...I'm just a writer. There is a main manager, they're just not localized.

I don't think Rick is going to tell anybody anything he doesn't want to (or has been told not to) tell, regardless of how the person asking the question approaches him. Rick giveth not a shit about giving someone info for a story. Not in his job description. That's actually why I like him. He doesn't try to get buddy-buddy with particular media folks and doesn't talk just to hear his own voice (see, Parcells and Avery).
ANYWAY... I just keep up with my stuff on Twitter. Follow @skindoeshoops, @MFollowill, @EKS_MavsNBA, @BallinWithBryan, @mavstats and pretty much anybody else on Twitter from around the area is going to give you all you need to know.

db.com has turned into a joke.
i made a thread like this here and people posted some interesting alt forums for mavstalk but the mods deleted it.

I've been to mavsmoneyball recently, under a different username though (thebigbang), and I'm really liking it over there. the spirit and attitude is always positive and awesome, they also make you feel welcome, PLUS they always keep you up to date with the latest news. +1 to rhylan, EKS always keeps you updated as well.

not sure if there are many Mavs fans that read Cyrillic text here. Might want to spam bot sites with actual readers of that language.
