Devin Brown?
Among the teams showing interest in former Cavs guard Devin Brown are Dallas, New Orleans, Denver and Atlanta. To a lesser extent, both Miami and Washington have made contact with Brown's representatives.
Brown played a team-high 78 games for the Cavs last year, which included 20 starts. He averaged 7.5 points.

Since Dallas is still so interested in all of these guys out there, does it make anyone else think that the Mavs are planning to thin this roster out some over the next few weeks?

Not necessarily. The team could just trying to be filling roster spots.
Or they could be desperately searching for a starting two guard...
Or noone will take what we have to offer. (like the rumor from Fish that management would not give a guarantee that Maurice Evans would get a significant role here, even though he would probably be the most proven shooting guard behind Jason Terry)

He's scrappy and his shot has improved but I don't see him as our starting 2 guard.
I wonder if his attitude has changed? I haven't paid much attention to it since he's been in Cleveland. One of the reasons SA let him go was because he was always late to practice and liked to party.

Neither of which we could get without a trade...I'd like either of those as well, but Ricky Davis wants MLE money. I am sure the Hornets want to hold onto Bonzi Wells as well with a still thin bench.

I think guys like Ricky and Bonzi have to realize the money isn't there for them as they hoped. So take less money or go to Europe.

Last report I heard was that Bonzi's future was unclear to murky in Nawlins.
Im not sure he's a fit here or if we could even get him but if the reports are correct there is a good chance he lands with another team.

Spurs coaches felt Brown was too laid back and lacked intensity to be a good player. I thought the guy had a nice shooting touch--but I guess I was wrong.
