New England Patriots @ Dallas Cowboys (October 14, 3:15PM CST)
Duel in Dallas has all the makings of a classic
Scouts Inc.
Time: 3:15 PM CST
TV: CBS
Line: New England by 6
Both teams come into what could be a Super Bowl preview featuring offenses and defenses that rank at or near the top of the league. The Cowboys and Patriots rank 1-2 in total offense, while New England is second in the NFL in total defense and Dallas is eighth.
Both teams feature star receivers -- Randy Moss of the Patriots and Terrell Owens of the Cowboys -- and both employ an aggressive, attacking 3-4 defensive scheme. In addition, each team has a solid, underrated offensive line and running back tandem, and tight ends Ben Watson of New England and Jason Witten of Dallas could be the X-factors in this game.
The Cowboys are playing for a little respect for the NFC, the Patriots are trying remain dominant in the AFC. We could go on and on with intriguing storylines in this game. There is no question this is going to be a great game.

Oh, btw: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/features/talent
Nobody picks the Cowboys. I really hope we win now.

After what Buffalo almost (or rather should have) done on Monday....anything at all is possible. A couple of Pats turnovers would go a long way to that end.

What I don't understand is that every every expert is saying the Cowboys haven't beaten anyone impressive.
Who exactly have the Pats beaten?

I agree. Both have played teams with complete crap records.
An interesting side note, the Pats have punted a league low 11 times in 5 games.

Did you see the Pats' remaining schedule? Other than the Colts, I don't see who they could possibly lose to...
