Rick Carlisle says O.J. Mayo went through a light walkthrough but is now having an MRI on his left shoulder."

with the race for the 8th seed only separated by 1.5 games between 3 teams, how would a loss of OJ Mayo, short term or long term, affect Dallas' chances of taking that final playoff spot?

I thought this was going to be about Morrow, but that would have been called "Mayo lite"

it should give anthony morrow more minutes. reserve nba players seem to be successful more often than not when they know that they are going to play without a quick hook. mavs may be better off. oj's scoring against good teams has dropped off recently and he's just an average defender.

MRI showed a mild sprain of the AC joint for OJ Mayo, per Rick Carlisle.
Just for your interest.
