Sigh of relief
I heard that the Warriors waived the physical for NVE and the trade is official. I was a bit nervous that the trade would be called off because of Nick's stubborness. I wish him well. However, he sure does seem to be shooting himself in the foot by his refusal to communicate with his new team. I am glad that is not our problem any longer. I have a hard time feeling too much sympathy for a guy that gets paid more than $10 million a year. That applies to Jermain O'Neal too.

You know, it saddens me now knowing how bad he wanted to play for us. He was such a clutch player for us this year in the playoffs. But Murphy has reminded us how much of a selfish player he is during the regular season.... But still, he liked playing here and he probably feels betrayed a bit? I bet he F's us pretty bad next year. Good thing it was GS, not the Lakers...

It is a tremendous compliment to the organization that when players leave the Mavs they are very disappointed. For example, NVE, Juwon, Hardaway, etc. Thank you Mr. Cuban for making Dallas such an attractive place.

I've been checking the papers here and haven't seen anything about a press conference scheduled yet.
Since it's been so long, why bother having one? NVE will probably report only when he as to, which is what, media day? That's when we'll hear about how he feels about the trade, I'm sure.
