The others have touched on it probably. Jiri has logged good minutes in all of the games. Nellie knows what he is made of (or at least has a good idea). It was probably time to rest him and see what other guys can do.

Nellie is probably trying to decide who he will put on the IR, and Jiri has already made the team. He wanted to give Tariq one more last look before he picks between TAW and Daniels.
