TRADE ACCEPTED
Lets face it, atlanta is screwed for the season. they give us some D and shotblocking that we need and we give them something that they dont realy have, scoring. this would get rid of tony delk and don nelson would stop using small ball. it will also allow jamison to start which i think would be a huge positive for this team.

I would want more for Walker if we traded him.

ok, we've talked about the problem of evil, and the extent of the atonement's application, but my real question to you is, "Could Jesus dunk?"

Id trade Jamison for Ratliff and Jackson.
Ratliff is an athletic shot blocker who leads the NBA in block shots. it would also allow nellie to play zone without bradley in the middle and play a more defensive lineup with Ratliff and Bradley together. Stephen Jackson can light it up and would be a good sixth man for the mavericks.

RE:trade that could acutally work
Neither Ratliff nor Stephen Jackson impress me as much as they do some. Ratliff blocks shots, but nothing more. He is no better a rebounder than Jamison, in fact, you may argue that he is a step down. Certainly, he is no offensive threat, which would probably put him on the bench in Nellie's system.
Stephen Jackson has always seemed a little wild and hard headed for my taste. He takes too many gambles, which was fine when he had Duncan and Rodinson guarding his back. I can't stand his shot selection though.
Worst of all, I'm afraid there might not be enough minutes to go around for everyone.

I'd definitely do that trade. Ratliff might not have much left in the tank, but your reasons for the trade are exactly right. Delk would be gone so Nellie would not be ABLE to play small ball as much, Jamison could be plugged into the starting lineup, and chemistry would be restored.

I would find ways to get Jamison starting...

RE:trade that could acutally work
i kinda want to see how far this team will go. In my opinion, all they need is another tall body. Doesn't have to be too much of a good player. Just someone who can help dirk with the dirty work.
