Default holy crap i have come up with an awsome trade

sup peoples,

havent been able to post anything in a while because of computer problems. anyways, after watching bibby do layup drills all day on us and wincing everytime miller grab a rebound while he is hurt caused me to come up with this trade.

Dallas trades: SG Michael Finley (18.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 38.6 minutes)
PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 34.6 minutes)
Dallas receives: C Nazr Mohammed (7.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.5 apg in 20.1 minutes)
C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
SG Anfernee Hardaway (9.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.3 apg in 27.6 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -4.9 ppg, +5.2 rpg, and -2.7 apg.

New York trades: C Nazr Mohammed (7.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 0.5 apg in 20.1 minutes)
C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
SG Anfernee Hardaway (9.2 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 2.3 apg in 27.6 minutes)
New York receives: SG Michael Finley (18.6 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.9 apg in 72 games)
PF Antoine Walker (14.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg, 4.5 apg in 82 games)
Change in team outlook: +4.9 ppg, -5.2 rpg, and +2.7 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Dallas and New York being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Dallas and New York had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

i know that hardaway has a HUGE contract but you gotta take the good with the bad. this lets NY still be competitive in the east with finely but lets them have some flexibility with the cap with walker. i know finely is the heart and soul of this team and yada yada, but you can see that in the playoffs he just cant come through. dont get me wrong i love mike its just that you need certain peices for a chamionship run. i already want daniels to start at the 2 replacing finely and letting howard grab the 3 spot while jamison still brings us the instant offense.

So, that would basically be Walker for KT and Nazr (that'd be fine with me), and Fin for Penny (no way in hell). I therefore call shenanigans on your thread title. This is NOT an awesome trade.

Sad part is I think he was being serious. If you don't think we can get more value from Finley and Walker, you'd be foolish.

You can get more.

Intersting thing though, I think Penny still has some good days ahead. I wouldn't deal Finley for him or anything, but I've always thought he would be an excellent Nellie-player. He can handle, shoot, pass, and post up. I know a lot of people don't like him for various reasons, but his basketball IQ is high, as well.
