Default Where is Van Horn?

What is the latest status on KVH? Is he going to be back at all for this series?

I just read an article on the FWST from two days ago that said he is out indefinitely! Is his injury worse than what was first diagnosed?

This is from DMN after the game!

Mavericks consider Van Horn for Game 5
Injured Mavericks forward Keith Van Horn has a new timetable.

Coach Avery Johnson said the team would determine Van Horn's availability just before Game 5 Wednesday. Van Horn has been sidelined since Game 2 of the Houston series because of a sprained left ankle.

"I wouldn't want to put him out there and play him in a game without going through a full practice and watching his every movement," Johnson said.

Nice.

I do hope he comes back for Game Five. We can always use another weapon. I bet he would work his ass off against Amare, too, if need be.

I'd be hesitant to throw him out there in this series...a 2nd degree sprain is pretty serious. Tim Duncan was out a little more than three weeks with his and it another two before he felt comfortable enough to go all out without protecting it.

I'd love to have him back, but like Avery said you have to moniter him in a full speed practice. If he's trying to baby it, he'll probably hurt more then help us.
