Amare played last night...
Mark Stein kisses his ass a little here. He'll never have the same explosivness though, but I guess it's good that he's been working on other parts of his game because he'll sure need them. The injury couldn't have happened to a better guy, imo. Black Jesus...yeah, sure.

Black Jesus. Number 1. Have to agree, he's not a terribly humble, personable guy is he.

Amare had 21/8, with 7 fouls and 6 turnovers. Woo.

I don't fear 21/8...

The more telling stat to me is the 7 fouls and 6 TOs against the summer leaguers! But then, this is his first game after a long while... can't read too much into it, either way!!

It's hard not to read into it I bet every owner/coach/player in the league is watching Amares progress. He will determine the championship next year.
That being said, I really dont think he's going to recover well... which is fine, he's a big jerk anyway.

I know it's basically meaningless, but it's pretty amusing that Amare picked up TEN fouls in his last game. He's averaging 8.0 (and 4.7 to's) per game over three games.
