Jackass the second movie
Anyone gonna see this movie this weekend? I thought the first one was hilarious and have always liked the TV shows. I was watching the making of it the other night and they said it was hard to come up with new pranking material because people would too easily recognize the cast members but they came up with some good material.

#1 - I have no idea there was a first movie.... why would it be interesting?

so I take it it's a movie of pranking people? Like Candid Camera? In a movie format? Doesn't sound too interesting to me...... maybe a rental....

Its basically a stunt movie..not like daring jump-over-the-grand-canyon stunts...but more in the vein of shove-foreign-objects-up-your-butt-and-light-yourself-on-fire stunts.
At least...I think that's what it is. That was the basic premise of the tv show.

Obviously none of yall watched Jackass 1 at Alamo Drafthouse. They had a 40 minute clip show of unairable/unrated/uncensored material they collected in their travels abroad.
Ping Pong Ball trick, Poop Volcano, etc. Yeah, I said Ping Pong Ball Trick.

did anyone else have trouble watching the papercutting in the first one.
I won't lie, I looked away, everytime I watch it.

The opening scene is worth watching the whole movie for. All of them in the big ass cart with that music randomly punching each other in the head makes me laugh until my stomach hurts. I can't think of a better way to begin the second one. It will take alot of thought to top it.
(yes the paper cutting scene and the snorting scene should be a time when you go get more beer)

I had no problem watching them. And it was freaking hilarious......... "I'm glad I came to see what's going on in this room." Classic.

LOL, oh man, that was terribly funny! A friend in the group I was watching this with damn near gagged on the horse part. I was cracking up throughout the movie. Most entertainment I've had at the movies in a while.

I have to admit... Weak stomach... I had to turn my head on the horse part... Damn that was one of the most disgusting things I have ever watched...
But that movie was pure greatness.

They did go over board on the leech part, and the horse part, and i thought the funniest was when they did the fourway teeter toter. But I thought the part that grossed me out was the butt chug. Then to get the plunger and have... I wont ruin it for the people who havent seen it.

Wow, the 4-way teeter toter! That was one of the funniest parts, and it wasn't gross or anything like that. Not even in bad taste. That's the part I was trying to remember, it was damn hilarious just to see how quickly they were able to maneuver on that thing.

For anyone who cares, i was just watching Ebert & Roeper and they gave it 2 thumbs up. Although Ebert was out, they had Fred Willard subing in. He's funny, but just the fact that they can say they got 2 thumbs up jus made my day.

My mom, who teaches High School, said that this movie was the hot topic of discussion yesterday. I was just curious to see if anyone here is a parent that let their kid go see the movie. Or for those that liked it, is it something you would let you kids see if you had any?
Quite honestly, I'm a little peeved that Jackass was this successful - mostly due to the fact that I'm willing to bet its $$ success was fueled by its young target audience, despite its R rating. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about a theater full of teenagers laughing at a guy engaging in some unspeakable act with a horse...makes me a bit uneasy.
Am I just a fuddy duddy?

Honestly, yes!
Just a bunch of idiots hurting themselves to make a dollar... 90 percent of it was quite entertaining and 10 percent was flat out disgusting, but still caught my attention in the following way: "No F#$@# way he would do that nasty S%#$!!!"
If they make it, count me in for #3.

No, you're not.
The funny stuff I can live with. It's not my cup of tea, but whatever. But I'd say the line should be drawn well short of drinking horse semen.
