Sonics waive newly acquired guard Ira Newble.
According to nba.com Ira Newble has been waived.
Would the mavericks be interested in picking him up? He's about 33 but he's a 6-7 220 lb shooting guard who can play some perimeter defense and is a hustle player. He won't score much but he may be an alright pick up on the defensive end.

I don't think he's a realiable enough shooter. He wouldn't get minutes over Stack or George. Sadly, I'm not sure he'd be able to get off the bench before Eddie Jones.

He's Trenton Hassell. We probably don't need another shooting guard that can't shoot. Although I don't think he's necessarily any better or any worse than Eddie Jones or Devean George.
