Parker, who was signed by a Heat as a free agent last July, played in only nine games for Miami this season, averaging 4.8 points and 2.1 rebounds.

Parker was reportedly banished from the team after an incident with a valet attendant in November. A woman reportedly accused Parker of twisting her arm during an altercation about a valet parking fee and was seeking criminal charges.

This is a pretty crappy thing for a franchise to do. So he cannnot hook up with anyone for the playoffs..

I don't know the full story but if he acted like an a** (not hard to imagine based on his history) the whole time he was there I don't blame them.

Teams are doing these players a favor since they still have to pay them. Why bother if the player didn't live up to his end of the deal.

Just different opinions I guess. Why would you hurt a guys career when you are firing him. Looks pretty vindictive to me.

I dont know how it hurts his career-- the guy wouldnt have played in the playoffs in Miami, and i doubt any team that is good enough to go to the playoffs would want a spare wit a bad attitude anyway.
