Better with him. If he has any pride he will try his hardest to redeem himself for his 12 ppg on 29.2 percent shooting last year vs NO.
You can't expect Dirk and Jet to carry this team for 48 minutes.

Without a doubt... WITH him. I've been getting on Josh as much as anyone, but if the Mavs expect to make any type of noise in the playoffs, they need a 3rd option and they need Josh to play up to his capabilities.
Josh is very, very important to this squad which is why it's so maddening to watch him most of the time.

I hate the guy, but we need him if we want to make any noise in the post season.

Definitely with him. Any kind of scoring help would benefit us hugely in the postseason. Plus not only that, we are in dire need of his defensive abilities. The playoffs is a tough sonofa, and were gonna need all thekind of help that we can get, no matter from who it may come from.

We can't ask Dirk to score +30 points each game! So we need Howard

If he plays with heart, we're better with him.

Hell yeah we need Howard - someone has to score points!
Don't take the Josh hate overboard - just because there are dozens of players in the league who could easily replace him doesn't mean we have one of them on our roster...
Without Josh Howard on the court, Devean George is our starter... Let that sink in...

Hey, wait a minute! JJB has been starting during Josh's recent absence!
So no need to worry...

Rick Carslile has called Howard the most important player of Mavs!
But the record says :
Record with Howard: 27-18 _ .600
Record without Howard: 13-7 _ .650

If you're going to quote the DMN blog, you could at least link to it.

I believe in Josh Howard, though he might be a simple mind. He will recognize that it is playoff-time and he has to be the old Josh again. I have no doubt that we will roll with Josh.
