OFFICIAL GDT - Cowboys vs Eagles!!!
Cowboys Vs. Eagles
Division Title, Playoff Positioning On The Line
link
GAME SET
WHAT: Dallas Cowboys (10-5) vs. Philadelphia Eagles (11-4)
WHEN: Sunday, 3:15 p.m. (CT)
WHERE: Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, Texas
TELEVISION: FOX (Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Pam Oliver)
BIG ISSUE: If things go the Cowboys' way on Sunday, they could find themselves with a home playoff game, if not a first-round bye. By beating Philly, Dallas would secure the NFC East title and ensure that its first playoff game would be at Cowboys Stadium. If the Vikings and Cardinals both lose (to the Giants and Packers, respectively), the Cowboys could also find themselves with the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the playoffs. On the other hand, if the Cowboys lose, the consequences won't be as dire as they were in last season's finale - the Cowboys would remain in the No. 6 spot, playing on the road at either Minnesota or Arizona. So it's not as if this is an all-or-nothing scenario for Sunday's showdown against the Eagles. It's more a question of finding the easiest path through the playoffs. Win, and the Cowboys could be on an elevator going up toward the Super Bowl. Lose, and they might have to take the stairs.
The playoff seeding scenarios for the Eagles are much less complicated. If they win, they secure a first-round bye, no matter what any other team does. But if they lose, they'll most certainly be on the road in the first week of the playoffs after relinquishing the NFC East title, even possibly playing Dallas again next weekend. The Eagles would certainly prefer the home playoff game and an extra week of practice and rest to going on the road to face the Cowboys for a third time.
NUMBERS, PLEASE: Everybody knows that Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson is a dangerous punt returner, but how much should the Cowboys be worried? They do boast the eighth-best net average with 39.9 yards a punt. And if they want to prevent a big return, Cowboys punter Mat McBriar is quite adept at downing the ball inside the 20-yard line, with 37 of his punts stopping short of the end zone, good for fourth in the league.
The Eagles have a reputation for being a hard-nosed defense - and they are tough - but they are also leaky when it comes to letting teams back into the game, as both the Giants and Broncos proved in the last two weeks. Of the six NFC teams going to the playoffs, the Eagles allow the second-most points per game with 20.9. Only the high-scoring Saints are worse, allowing 21.2 points a contest.
ONE-ON-ONE: If the Cowboys want to beat the Eagles when something important like playoff positioning is on the line, they'll have to do a better job of protecting quarterback Tony Romo, who took four sacks the last time these two teams met. Eagles Pro Bowl defensive end Trent Cole recorded one of those sacks, and Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams will have to be on his A-game on Sunday. Adams did a decent job against Cole the first time around this season. Cole, who has 12.5 sacks this year, only managed two tackles the entire contest.
The key to stopping the Eagles is stopping the deep passing game, which in turn means stopping Pro Bowl wide receiver DeSean Jackson. The Cowboys secondary, led by second-year cornerback (and Pro Bowl snub?) Mike Jenkins, did a good job of bottling up Jackson earlier in the season, limiting him to only two catches for 29 yards. Jenkins' knack for finding the football could also be important in defending against the deep ball, since many of his five interceptions - including one at Philadelphia earlier in the year - came on long passes.
SUPPORTING ROLE: It's safe to say at this point that the Cowboys have short-yardage problems. Twice they tried to convert on fourth-and-short - and once on third-and-short - against the Redskins, and all three times they came up with no positive yardage. One solution to that problem is for Cowboys fullback Deon Anderson to play his best, and play more often. Many times the Cowboys have used the tight end as a run blocker, or have used both running backs Felix Jones and Marion Barber in the backfield at the same time, but there's something to be said for simply following a lead-blocking fullback into the hole.
When the Eagles lost center Jamaal Jackson last week against the Broncos, they moved right guard Nick Cole to center. Now with Jackson on IR, Cole will take over snapping duties for the rest of the year, with fourth-year lineman Max Jean-Gilles filling in at guard. Center was Cole's original position, so it's not as if he's unfamiliar with playing there, but he'll be very unfamiliar with trying to block Cowboys Pro Bowl nose tackle Jay Ratliff, who usually lines up over the left guard and angles toward the center. Ratliff isn't built like a typical defensive tackle and is more of a penetrator than a run-stuffer.
HEADSET GAMES: The Eagles have two very good corners in Asante Samuel and Sheldon Brown. The former is a Pro Bowler, and you could make an argument for the latter. But the Cowboys are familiar with both, and know that a good double move every now and then can work in their favor. Cowboys Pro Bowl receiver Miles Austin proved as much the last go-round, making Brown bite on an underneath route before beating him deep for a score. Samuel is also reputed to take chances, although Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said it is very difficult to trick him. There is a difference between anticipating a route and guessing, Phillips said, and Samuel very rarely guesses.
If the Eagles lose this game, there's a very real possibility they could face the Cowboys again in the first round of the playoffs at Cowboys Stadium. The Cowboys know as well as anyone else how difficult it is to beat the same team three times in one season (see Cowboys-Giants, 2007). But with such an advantageous seed on the line, don't expect either team to save much for a potential third meeting.
HEALTH WATCH:
Cowboys
Out - starting right tackle Marc Colombo (ankle) and backup safety Pat Watkins (knee). Probable - starting wide receiver Miles Austin (thumb), starting cornerback Terence Newman (knee), starting strong safety Gerald Sensabaugh (thumb) and starting outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware (wrist).
Eagles
Out - starting center Jamaal Jackson (knee, placed on IR). Probable - backup wide receiver Reggie Brown (shoulder), starting center/guard Nick Cole (knee), backup safety Quintin Demps (ankle), starting guard Max Jean-Gilles (ankle), starting wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (foot), quarterback Michael Vick (quadricep).

Dammit - I can't edit the thread title to say "Cowboys vs Eagles" (the game is in Dallas).
Has anyone seen a mod around here in 2010?

You can also find a flash at atdhe, but you canĀ“t rely on them due to a limited number of users (sometimes) . Next choice is justin. There you might find a pic.
But the best way is Streamtorrent. It runs stable, causes no problems and sometimes you can find HD streams.

This one is over already. Too bad. I wanted to watch two competent teams. The eagles look disinterested.

How did the eagles win 11 games? They can't complete passes to wide open guys and are committing stupid penalties. Troy Aikman is right. They should have 17 points but they're just beating themselves.

Should roll. Try shutting down everything you donĀ“t need - maybe switch between the chans when it freezes. Also consider using the guys from Denmark. They are very decent

There's no way the eagles are just mailing it in....they have everything in the world to play for.
The Cowboy's offensive line is absolutely dominating the Eagles D. Get a little pressure on McNabb and this one is over.

Is there a different ruling when pass interference occurs in the endzone ?
