JJB was amazing. Kidd was great. Dirk was quiet but efficient.. didn't need to do much.
I think Roddy did better than most people expected him to. 13 poinst 46% fg, 6 assists, 3steals and 3 turnovers. I kinda half-expected him to come out and do something like 2-7 with a lot of turnovers and not many assists. Very pleased.
hmm.. Terry led the team with +28 (in 21 min, wow) but doesn't really have the stats to back it up. 12 points on 10 shots, no rebounds and a 2-3 assists-turnover ratio. Watching the game though without stats it seemed like he was effective so I'm not terribly surprised.

8 players with double-digit scoring - Kidd (20), Marion (14), Dirk (13), Roddy (13), Terry (12), Haywood (12), Peja (12) and Barea (11).
Haywood also with 10 boards (4 offensive) for a 12/10 double-double.
Barea with 10 assists, Roddy with 6.
WE STAAAAAACKED!!

That was so fun. If only we had Caron, we'd truly be unstoppable.

Can't wait for tomorrow. RB against a team that does not play D? He should, in theory, top tonight's performance.

Now for the bad news: you're not going to beat most teams in this league when you commit 21 turnovers and 26 fouls...
Seems like a lot of that was the result of our guys force-feeding Roddy or trying to turn up the tempo, but hopefully we'll play with a little more discipline going forward.

Roddy remembered me tonight how badly Terry and Barea suck at finishing a fastbreak

Was this really the largest margin of victory of the year? 16 points? Crazy if true.

It was the Kings - 21 turnovers and 26 fouls will not beat the Suns tomorrow.

Most of those fouls came in the 4th quarter during garbage time.
Still I agree that is unacceptable.

Stevenson's horribleness worries me.

Do you think Roddy starts over Stevenson soon,
or do we keep Stevenson as starter and officially have the best bench in the NBA.......'s history?

Wait a minute now...remember Terry said that about the Suns last season and the Mavs went on the lose that game?...What makes it worse is that the Suns went all the way to the WCF to top if off.

I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere, but after the Lakers losing by 20 last night, the Mavs have the longest streak without a 20+ point loss at 70 games.

21 minutes for Roddy, 13 for Stevenson - I don't care who starts, just who gets the most minutes...
(also, Stevenson was replaced by Roddy in the first minute of the game, so who really started?)

Turnovers have been a problem all season, but we are normally pretty good in avoiding fouls (18.6 per game - 2nd in the NBA). So this game is kind of an exception, especially considering that 13 of the 26 fouls came in the fourth.

He's going to start. Carlisle even said in the press conference that they're usually going to only play 9 guys.

Yep, heard that, and it makes sense.
Chandler - Haywood
Nowitzki - Marion
Stojakovic
Beaubois - Terry
Kidd - Barea
That's honestly pretty stout. I don't expect a trade at this point.

I'm less concerned with the fouls than the turnovers... We looked really sloppy tonight (and not just in garbage time either - most of the first half was a mess...)

Forgotten nugget:
Home dominance could be returning...
The win marked Dallas’ seventh consecutive home win, tying their season-best stretch for consecutive wins at home (won seven straight at home from 11/23-12/11).
