GDT: Mavs @ Bucks 7:00 PM CST
Ellis and Jennings will be a challenge. Should be a hard fought match.

I hope Marion can play. If not, must keep Ellis and Jennings contained. Not to mention new acquired JJ Redick. Who likes to chuck shots all around half court.

agreed. they will try to take over because they have injured big men. we can expect to see a lot of three guard small ball from them.

Wonder if Roddy will get some burn for defensive purposes in this one. If I remember correctly Mike was getting abused by Ellis pretty badly last time we played them.

True, and I'm sure it will continue. Doubt we'll see Roddy.
I do think a tad less emphasis is being put on our guards when it comes to beating teams. The pf and center positions gave us 47 points last game. It would be nice to keep leaning on that type of production so that some pressure is taken off of James/Collison/Mayo to perform. And as long as Carter keeps it up, then it will be hard for teams to out score us.

roddy is done in dallas unless someone is injured. rc won't risk second guessing if roddy outplays james. the next time anyone sees roddy in other than garbage time he will be in another uniform.

I'm holding out a little hope just because Rick spoke positively of his work in practice a few days ago, and because there's precedent for Roddy doing a good job defensively on Monta. We'll see, though. Regardless of who gets the PG minutes, I hope the defensive rotations and off-ball pursuit on Redick is up to snuff.

That is just retarded.

Much as I'd like to see it, I have little reason to believe Roddy will play over James (or at all).

after rick's comments i thought sure roddy would play in minnesota. minn. players were dog tired and not shooting well. james had a horrible game yet rick played him at pg and two guard (almost 23 minutes). that's when i determined that regardless of nice words rick doesn't plan to play roddy. there was no good reason not to play roddy, morrow and sarge earlier in that game.

Sanders is a defensive beast in the making. He has some Rodman in him.

Dirk looking to score. No coincidence that Kaman took a seat early in the quarter.

Giving up 35 points in the first quarter isn't going to work.

Yeah.. Last night was one of the most painful nights I can remember. No energy, body aches, vomiting, chills, and sore throat. At least the Mavs can provide some distraction. The best part is I'm supposed to be on vacation right now.

For someone so quick he is just terrible on defense.

It really is a strange phenomenon because it always appears like he's trying hard too.

Mavs may have been in the playoffs already if Caroisle wasnt stubborn and playing Murphy over Wright.

We're making a run with this lineup:
Roddy, James, Mayo, Crowder, Wright
Sure!

Is it a bad sign that I enjoy watching the Mavs more when Dirk isn't on the floor? I feel so ashamed.. Wright is fun to watch

Me too.. But man, it would be nice to see a Roddy offensive explosion that he used to give every now and then. Just to see that he still has it.

A bit strange to me, not necessarily bad. I love watching the Big German play ball.
