I sure hope none of you are affected by this. WorldCom is toast. Their stock fell before opening to 9 cents a share and was was frozen. I hope none of you will lose jobs or earnings.
And guess what...their accountant is Arthur Anderson. Oh boy. |

and apparently the irregularities were discovered as soon as KPMG came in to replace Anderson. Of course, Anderson's laying it squarely on MCI's (already fired) CFO, for now.
3.8 billion dollars. wow. |

I lost 5K on this stock.
Hope the CEO and the rest of the parasites go to jail (a real one) not the one with a Golf course and room service. I want them to become somebodies bitch. I think the only ones who have sympathy for these Corporate Pirates are the House and Senate (Fat Asses). If you ask me these CEO's are worse than Car theives and Drug dealers. Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! |

Be checking the Delaware Bankruptcy Court docket on Monday. WorldCom is screwed. They'll probably merge with Verizon soon as part of a Chapter 11 deal. Arthur Anderson is done for now. Noone will trust their accounting.

I met an Anderson Partner a few months ago. He had announced his retirement 3 months before the Enron fiasco. He was still winding up his affairs but was pretty much secure. He said Anderson was Fncked.
