DraftExpress.com says "The Mavericks continue to be a source of discussion in potential trade rumors."

It doesn't go into any more details and just leaves it at that. Does anyone know what are the realistic trade rumors that are being discussed? It's highly unlikely that we are going to get KG or Kobe. The only rumor I've heard or read about was Rashard Lewis.

I think it's just referring to the rumors you see scattered around this forum. In particular, it probably means the "Jason Terry for a top ten pick" rumor that began on Draftexpress.com and has yet to be substantiated.

Draftexpress is legit in that they routinely talk to execs and other high up people in the NBA. If they are reporting this, then that most likely means there is stuff going on that we aren't hearing about.

A lot of times trades are made after the pick is made. Meaning, we would wait to make sure our guy is still available, if so we give our trading partner the green light to make the pick. Once that happens, we make the trade. Another reason to do this is that you cannot trade consecutive picks, so by trading a player, you get around this rule.

the only pick the mavs have worth real vaule is the number 34 after that the lower picks are more so for projects so I dont know if they hold any real trade value at all
