Reminds me of a Masters with Tom and Jack playing together. Must have been 16th or so. They both hit the green and both nailed 25 ft. puts.

Done? The dude is still young! And right now he is playing very, very well. He'd have two of the last five majors if Paddy Harrington wasn't there to rip them from his hands.
Oh, and Paddy looks like a rabbit. Just thought I would add that observation.
And oh, yeah...Sergio just got done winning the Players Championship, a sort of "fifth major." Plus, he looks cool wearing that Adidas.

Harrington winning majors when Tiger is injured...is like the Rockets winning championships when Jordan was retired.

Except that Tiger did play, and was no factor, last year when Harrington won his first major. And what percentage wins does Tiger have in the PGA?
I don't understand this mindset. Tiger is, what, about 25% in majors for his career? Where does this idea come from that he'd win it if he was in it? For one thing, he's got a bad knee, caused by the ridiculous torque he's been putting on it all this years with his windmill golf swing. Hell, even if he was 90% to win it if he was in it, I still wouldn't dismiss Harrington's accomplishments...because Harrington is healthy and Tiger isn't.

If he can't win it when Eldrick Woods isn't there, when he admitted that he has no chance against Tiger.. he'll never win it. He had this major in his hands (again), but he just doesn't have the "it" factor. He should join the European tour and just play Ryder Cup events.

He's easily one of the top ten golfers in the world right now, and probably more like top five.
Meanwhile Tiger is getting old and he is presently sitting his ass on a couch recovering from knee surgery.

Tiger Woods is 32.
Sergio Garcia is 28.
But if you are stating that Tiger Woods is a question mark coming back from serious injury, I agree with you.
But if you are trying to state that Sergio has what it takes to win a major championship, I don't.
Sergio Garcia reminds me of T-Mac.

Guys who don't have what it takes to win a major are guys like Monty. Guys who have a ten-foot putt for the Open aren't guys who don't have what it takes. Guys who miss by a stroke (and/or a stroke of bad luck) aren't guys who don't have what it takes.
Now, if you wanted to tell me that Phil Mickelson will never win another major, I might not differ with you. But I see Garcia pounding down that door. Eventually he's going to kick it in.

That five-iron he hit on 17 showed stones like you wouldn't believe. Padraig hits it to fifteen feet, and he hits it inside him!? Those are huge stones, man.
The five-wood on 18 showed stones as well. He pulled off what was almost a perfect shot. One yard to the right and he goes to a playoff.
If he hits the putt on 17, it's a different story. If he hits the putt on 18 at Carnoustie, it's a different story. But both were well-stroked putts, and neither lacked stones nor mental game.
It's the rub of the green, man. But the fact remains, in both those tourneys Sergio was better than everyone in the field save one man.

Sergio held the lead going into the final 3 holes of both majors. That's a lack of stones IMHO.
before a big putt, you can't help but whisper "he's going to miss this" in your head.
