Silver lining:
Jeremaine Copeland makes the team.
Everybody says how he's looking like a good possession receiver, which is just what the 'Boys need right now. If Galloway will earn his $$, this won't hurt SO bad.. it'll let Antonio Bryant get a chance to shine.

shit! Rocket is one of my favorite players. From ND to now. I think he would have had a nice year with Quincy finally being able to throw. Oh well, now Bryant will get a lot more playing time. Good for him. He'll probably be the Cowboys leading receiver. Also Rambo will step up as well

Nah, I think it just means that they keep both Williams and Copeland.
Galloway, Bryant, Rambo, Swinton, Williams, and Copeland. There's your six. Maybe they bring Flowers back for the cameras

Heard on the news Bryant will start and Copeland, who was going to be released, will now make the team.

It stinks about rocket. He was the only receiver that has been getting it done. Galloway has been mia.

at least galloway is talking the talk this preseason. He wants to make his presence felt this year, he knows he has disappointed. And with the emmerging of Bryant and Rambo, he really needs to shine this year, or Jerry may say BUH BYE

I met Rocket last year at the Mavs pre-season game against Orlando. He was the nicest guy. His wife was lovely too. Kids kept coming up and asking for autographs and Rocket signed every one. I felt sorry for him because there were so many kids that he could not watch the game.
Here is to you, Rocket! I hope you make a full recovery.

Even we he attended that godforsaken school ND, he was hard not to like. Rocket has always been a nice guy.

I too think Rocket is a class act as a person, but IMO both he and Galloway have just not gotten the job done vs the money they earn since getting them here. I know injuries have been a big reason for Rocket's problems (and some of Galloway's also) but durability is ALMOST as important as performance. It will be interesting to see the young up and coming receivers we are fortunate to have on the team will perform....It will be their show more and more. They are our future in any case and they start in September.

This may be a dumb question, but does Rocket actually make a lot of money by NFL standards? I was under the impression that he is not.

I would equate Rockets salary with the midlevel basketball exception.

Aw crap. Jeff Robinson is now out for the year with torn right knee ligaments. He was to play backup fullback, TE, and was the deep snapper specialist we got from the Rams. Huge loss.
