Kidd's problem was never VC as a player, but that VC opted out for free agency and was given a 4 year deal. All Kidd wanted was an extension to his deal, he asked and was denied, no negotiations period. Kidd's anger was at NJ management and ownership for not even talking about an extension.

He did that shit on purpose. I'm surprised people haven't mentioned TMac and Vince are cuzos. If Vince went to Houston and did dirty things (like get out of the first round) with Yao, Artest and Adelman in his first go, Tracy would be ruined.
