New Orleans during the Mardi Gras season. Unfortunately I am not going this year, but I have been many times before. You just can't beat the good times in the big easy...

It would have been Tokyo, but international travel is a little discomforting right now.

I´d chose between
Reunion
Thailand
USA
Tibet
(I´ve been to Thailand and Reunion before but both are easily worth more than one visit).

TOKOYO!
Without a doubt
Because I love Japanese stuff...that's about it really.
Well actually, the only doubt is if it's during the World Cup in 2006. I'm going to Germany then anyway..it would be nice if it could be an all expenses paid trip though.

Hmm never been there. My next trip is my wedding. Going to get married on the beaches of Grand Cayman or Stingray Island. After that I might look into Costa Maya...
I did do some research and heres a pic of Costa Maya:
Impressed...

the beaches and the diving in grand cayman..amazing
however, the rest of it is too much like Key West..which is basically too much like any populated coastal area in the U.S....it's all about the buck
right off of the beach, ..hard rock cafe..subways, all that crap
if i want that, i'll go down the street during my lunch break

I'd go to New Orleans during a slow season (Christmas or late summer). Stay in a nice hotel in the quarter, eat at some great restaurants, drink huricanes at Pat O'Brien's. I think I could have a great 2 weeks on $5,000. Then I would invest the remaining $5,000 in low risk investments.

I would go to Dallas and stay there until the 10,000 dollars is gone.
