So what now?
I would just like to find out what the timing is for everything.
For example.. Can the Mavs package L8 and Stack in a trade? I thought the Mavs had to wait 60 days before they can be traded in a package. Is that true? Is it a 60 day waiting period for the Mavs? What crucial dates are the Mavs looking at right now? When can the Mavs start talking to FAs? Do the Mavs have to wait for that time before they can negotiate with Nash?

Stack or Laettner can be dealt seperately. They can not be combined in any deal for 60 days. So, a 1-1 deal is acceptable, but that is it.

we have till midnight tommorow to trade them together. If we want to package them, it will take the 60 days if we don't do it before tommorow.

Thanks. That means the Mavs have till midnight tomorrow or they have to wait for 60 days. Do you think the Mavs should try to get things done ASAP with Shaq or should they wait hoping that the Lakers realize that they won't get much for Shaq. I mean they won't get an offer like the Mavs. Are the rookies tradeable at anytime?
