RE:The BLOCKBUSTER to end ALL BLOCKBUSTERS...
This would be a dream come true for Dallas and Philly. However, from a LA and Orlando point of view, this trade is an absolute kick in the balls. No GM in their right mind should ever give up an efficient player like Kobe for a volume shooter like Antoine Walker. They could get so much more out of him. Also, Orlando trading McGrady for AI would be giving up an efficient scorer for a selfish player who can't score unless he gets 20-25 shots per game. This would be an absolute steal for Dallas and Philly, but sorry man, I can't ever see this trade happening.

I can see every team doing this except LA. Why would LA even do a SNT for Walker? If they want cap flexibility, then let Kobe walk. If they want something back, then picks, and young development guys have to be in the mix. I don't see the LA angle at all.

RE:The BLOCKBUSTER to end ALL BLOCKBUSTERS...
after learning this season what a volume shooter is (someone who needs to shoot at least five times to make a bucket), I learned in this still young off-season what a volume thread-opener is (someone who opens at least five threads to get a couple of replies).
no offense, Joey
off-season really hurts...
btw. can we get LeBron for TAW?

If you could get Kobe with just Antoine Walker, why not do that?
Overall, this is a totally unrealistic trade. Hopefully this thread will have a quick and uneventful death.

there is one problem with that trade: someone has to end up with Walker.

What's the problem with that? Dallas won't end up with him so why should we care?

I just want to point out that Orlando would love to have Iverson now that T-Mac is gone...
and Antoine Walker has one more Championship since this thread was originally posted than Kobe does...
lol
I was so bored that day.
