Dallas @ Miami
Screw kharma. Screw what is and is not acceptable on the board. Screw starting the f'in game day threads on the day of the game. Someone has to take a little control and responsibility around here and that someone will be me. It's time to put my perfect record on the line for a late season surge. F' kharma. While I'm at it, I say bring back the nun. It's time for some f'in changes around here.

It's within 24 hours and you are a quality poster. I dont see any f'in thing wrong with posting a gameday thread. It just should be stickied so it doesnt get lost at the bottom of the page (Where someone else may post another)

I hope that this thing turns around. I hope nellie gives bradley 20+ minutes screw the matchups. Other teams should matchup with us.
As Nick and now Murph said F'em.

The Beast may well have been freed by a higher power, and that will help our Mavs win 106-88...

I'm glad you made a stand & all, Murph. I still waited until midnight to open the thread though. Call it habit. Ok, 98-94 Dallas, assuming Miami is not missing one of its key stars.

RE: Dallas @ Miami
The HEAT are play AWESOME.
And you can not f karma like that......too dangerous!
If they put up the same effort against the Pacers....and Dirk doesn't lead in minutes:
Mavs 105
Heat 99
but if they treat the Heat like the old Heat
Mavs 101
Heat 111
this is probably whats going to happen if Fins plays.....hopefully him being out still will keep this team MORE FOCUSED....
I'm going with Mavs 105
over
the Heat 99

If McGrady is not playing, the Mavs have no chance. Otherwise, Mavs should win by a blowout.

someone above is very confused about which florida team the Mavs are playing...hopefully the mavs know who they are playing and take them seriously, as the Heat have been playing well as of late.
mavs show up and win by a comfortable margin tonight.

You are doing very little to keep what little credibility you have left as far as your intentions on this board are with that statement.
Go here or here or try one of these and post your drivel. We are fans of the Mavericks, and that garbage is not welcome here.

What the hell is the difference if he's in the whole game. Basically I think the team plays better when on the court more than anyone else.
Josh Howard will show who is the still, just a rookie.
Is Finley Playing???
Does it matter???
WE SHALL PREVAIL

The scariest thing I've seen in a long time was today's USA Today Sports section.
It's March 26, 2004. And for the Mavs - Heat game, there's NO LINE.
Unbelievable. Could you have imagined such a scenario in November?

here is my win prediction for the mavs for remainder of year. They will beat orlando, cleveland, utah, houston, golden state, denver, phoenix, seattle
they will lose to sacto, memphis, seattle, houston
thats a 7-4 finish. Thats 7 wins right there. Mark that down.

RE:Dallas @ Miami
something is goofy with the NBA schedule, ESPN and NBA.com
Both NBA team sites say that the game will be on ESPN tonight but you go to the front page of nba.com and it says that the Nets and Celtics are the first game of the double-header and not the Mavs. Then to the right of the lead picture it says to check out the Mavs play at 8pm ET on ESPN, but the game is listed to go off at 7:30ET on the NBA frontpage (8pm ET on each of the team pages). TVguide.com says that the game is going off at 6pm (my time) which is 8pm ET and will be Mavs-Heat. It probably doesnt matter to localites but Im in Phoenix and I dont want to be watching Phoenix at New Awlins on my Shabbat.

espn website says mavs heat followed by lakers-wolves. so i think u will be okay in phoenix. nice town by the way. in my former job, i traveled often to phoenix to cover sporting events. stayed at The Buttes resort in tempe to cover cowboys-steelers in super bowl xxx.

RE: Dallas @ Miami
BOY I LOVE THAT ATTITUDE MURPH!!!!!!! VERY NVE of you!!
YOU KNOW, Tonights game is a DEFINING game for the Mavs. We put up a good efort against Indy and loss.
SO what happens to this team? Superbowl or bust?
We can either Dig down deep, suck it up and go beat a team frankly we SHOULD BEAT. Obv were not winning it all this year, but DONT you Guys want a shot at San Antonio?????? A team which were 2-0 vs when Duncan PLAYS!!!
We can either step it up, take back the 5th seed, look to fight for the 4th seed and ROLL with SA and the real MVP in the first rd.
OR, flounder to the 6th and get our ass kicked by the Lakers.
I still want a shot at San Antonio.
