Imagine This
If you were a GM for a lottery team, with fans breathing down your neck for improvement, coaches afraid of being fired, and your owners losing millions of dollars a season....would you trade your lottery pick for any of Antoine Walker, MichaelFinley, Antawn Jamison, or Steve Nash and play out an entire season with the hope of rebuilding??? Do you really think that any of these players could make a lottery team that much better?
Just a thought, does anybody have any answers?

I think Antoine Walker would be very appealing to a team like the one you described.
Walker is a solid vet who helps you win NOW. That pleases the coach and makes things a little better. He is an All-star on the right team. That pleases fans. His contract ends after the season. That pleases management. These are a few of the reasons that I think Walker is gone. |

if it were last year's draft i wouldnt trade the pick. this year id trade for jamison because he's young , score and rebound

I'd say that if I were a lottery bound team needing to build right now, I'd take Jamison. He will get you 20 night in and night out. You would have to surround him with an awesome defense, but he is a better scorer than most, and would get you several more wins a year.

I think any of the players would make a lottery bound team better. People dog on Finley, but I think he has it in him to be the go-to guy/main scorer on a team.
