One sack and one fumble. One pick and no touchdowns. The Reign Fire won though... on a 4th quarter safety.

Ugh. Looks like Chad is still Chad.

Also, this interesting note: Clint Stoerner went 14-of-25 for 158 yards and a touchdown to lead Amsterdam Admirals over the Frankfurt Galaxy .

From what I read, Rohan Davey was the best QB prospect at the NFE training camp.

But that's pretty relative, I guess.

Also, the other Qb for Rhein apparently played as well, if not better than, CCrutch. Amazing that he's over than and SPLITTING TIME. You'd think that he'd be getting the vast majority of minutes.

Does Rohan Davey still look more like a lineman than a quarterback or has he slimmed-down a bit?

In camp, they listed him at 6'1" and 230.

So, unless he's grown 4" inches since then and/or lost 20 pounds....I'm betting that he's still a bowling ball.

If Vinny comes, he is virtually guaranteed the #2 spot.

Quincy and Hensen will battle it out for the #1 spot.

As for the third, let's say Hensen outshines Quincy... Who would you rather have sitting on the bench, a disgruntled, washed-up Quincy, or a motivated young Hutch? Who has more upside? Who might you be able to trade later?

Mark this: If Hensen beats out Q in camp, Q won't be in the NFL next year.

You think Hutchinson's not disgruntled? He's already bitching about how he didn't get a fair shake last year. I'm sure that just what Bill wants to hear.

If Rick Mirer, who signed with Detroit yesterday, can play in the NFL...then Q probably can, too.

From what I understand, Backup Qb for Chad had better numbers and enabled the team to win with a TD.

How can you say Quincy will be disgruntled and not Chad when everyone knows Chad doesn't even have a shot at being a starter for this team while Quincy atleast has a shot?

Serious bet to all comers: If and when Quincy is cut this year or next or whenever by the Cowboys, he is still in the NFL the following year.

Qspare will make a good living as an NFL backup for someone. I think he will go the route of Anthony Wright, Tom Tupa, etc.

Just giving anybody out there who actually thinks Quincy is not fit to hold a clipboard in this league the chance to put their money where their mouth is.

I swear I'll give the money to DJ or KG or OP to hold. Anybody who wants to take the bet better be willing to do the same. I am sick and tired of the shock value cr@p.

I've got to get into the Shield. I've heard alot about it, but refuse to start watching it until I can start at the beginning. I plan to add it to my netflix queue.

How many seasons have there been?

hutch is a big floating piece of crap in the nfl. his constant bitching about how his treatment wasnt fair last season makes me want to laugh. the fact that henson, carter, and romo are all working out at valley ranch right now while hutch fails miserably in europe tells me all i need to know about what the boys think about hutch.

get over it kid, life isnt fair. you getting the starting job over qcar in your rookie season wasnt fair. you not getting to compete with qcar in your 2nd season wasnt fair. give me qcar over a fumble prone, int throwing, no pocket awareness moron like hutch.

mark it down: henson will be the starter next year.

What was wrong with it is that you should get over your obsessive Qstar hating and open your eyes to the quarterback play around the rest of the league. You'd be awfully hard pressed to find thirty guys who are *clearly* going to be better than Qchamp for the next several years.

Default RE:Tracking Chad Hutchinson

i read somewhere that he fumbled while scrambling for a first down, and managed to fumble the ball without being hit!

fortunately for him, the ball took a lucky bounce and he recovered it.

Jerry Jones stated the other day that he thought Hutch would compete for the starters role. He said it with a straight face. Jerry Jones is probably the only one who could have pulled it off with a straight face.

He's competing against QCar. So of course he should compete for the starting job.

aexchange - looks like the boxscore indicates zero fumbles. But I'm sure your source is better.

Speaking of fumbling without being hit... does anybody have an official tally of how many times last year the ball squirted out of the back of Quincy's hand as he cocked back to throw the ball? I remember two times specifically, but I'm betting that there were more.
