Default Chris Sheridan: Mavs are Pistons 'Bucket Boys'

I originally posted this portion of today's NBA Insider chat with Chris Sheridan in the NBA section, but after thinking about it, I figured I might as well start a thread up over here as well to shine a brighter light upon the slander that ESPN beat writer Chris Sheridan heaped upon our Mavs today:

Quote:
Aaron (Dallas): Chris, all the talk the first half of the season has been about the Pistons? Why no love for the Mavs? Avery has won coach of the month honors several times, the team has arguably the same record as Detroit, and they beat Detroit earlier this year by 37 points!

SportsNation Chris Sheridan: The Mavs are the Pistons' bucket boys.
Now, I know Mr. Chris was trying to be light and amusing in his above comment, but in my book, a slander offered in jest is a vile slander nonetheless...

Thusly, from now until Providence in his infinite wisdom sounds forth the clarion call of his glorious, Blessed Trumpets to blazon the Second Coming of our Saviour and Lord; and direly beautific, captiously forgiving, Angelic Hussars trammel the wicked of this troubled, baleful world of ours under the effulgent and terrible hooves of their Great Steeds, I am going to think of and describe ESPN Insider beat writer Chris Sheridan (who is incidentally, not a bad beat guy) as being:

'Bucket Boy' Chris Sheridan'

Maybe he mistook the Mavs for the Spurs...

When will a true analyst break away from what the cliche' media has to say and grow some balls?? For crying out loud. Take a stand and show some bloody courage in expressing a unique and intelligent opinion! If your written words cannot offer anything insightful or profound then you utter complete nonsense unworthy of any accumulation of thought.

Like dogs, these media tools vomit up garbage only to later return again and again and again.

Oh whoops... I didn't remember that Cuban called Phil Jackson a 'Bucket Boy' on that blog post of his, so I didn't fully understand the context of Sheridan's chat wisecrack earlier. Oh well, it's still insulting...
