The official Sixers at Mavericks GDT
The Sixers arent a very good team, but they are tough and can score in bunches. So it's important Dallas gets off to a good start tonight. I imagine they will after Avery's extra focus.
Mavericks 106
Sixers 98

The Little General's got this one. Mavs come out focused, and win the game thoroughly and decisively.

Mavs 100-90

I think the Mavs will try and push it this time...they will purposely get behind by 30 points with 8 minutes left in the game and see if they can make a comback then go into triple overtime where they launch a 3 pointer with 0.4 seconds left to win the game by 1 pt. Ambulances will surround AA center for treating several heart attacks among the fans. There will be a Dallas Morning New article on Tuesday on how there has been an unusual large number of TV's being thrown away as a result of fans giving up on the game after the 1st Quarter. Several Dallas-Mavs members will be quoted as to why they broke their TV.

Is this game ripe for looking forward? Sixers can be tough.
Mavs should pull it out 101-91.

Injuries are starting to mount. Devin just can't get his quad to heal.

DA makes an early entrance to help contain Iverson?
Dirk continues his streak of 30+ points and exerts his will on defense (sorta)?
DJ comes in to record the first triple-double of his career - in the final 3 min. of the 4th Q?
Mavs 109 - 94 Sixers

Philly is a team that has given us trouble the past few years. I remember a Double OT game two seasons back, and that was on the heels of an OT game vs. the Knicks. Boy was that Double OT game fun to be at since we won, but didn't they split the series with us last season, and they won a game early this season (Dirk went out midway thru). We should win, but they definitely have the ability to make tonight a bad night.

Maverick domination the league's best team wins 110-80. Dirk has 40 through three quarters as AI and Webber stand in disbelief.

I remember last season, Dampier had the game of his life. like 23 and 26, and then Finley completely choked the game away. that's when I realized he needed to go.

Philly seems to have their number so I say sixers win 100-95.
edit: I did this in disgust of some of the posters on this board disrespecting my opinions.

Mavericks will win by 3, Dirk scores 35 p. and 15 points in 4th q. + Diop will show to Hunter way he was the better choice.

Maybe participating in the All-Star game wasn't such a great idea afterall.

With Avery's focus on the sluggish starts, Mavs get off to a good start and dominate the Sixers 105-78.

Good start, let's put this one away and hope Cleveland can knock off the Pistons. Doesn't look like NYK will do anything to stop the Spurs tonight.

my school's wireless network for the on-campus apartments is absolutely effing insanely horrible. d/c every effing minute and low strength. I want to punch a hole thru the administrator's face. I am so pissed right now.

Mbenga should get some minutes at the PF tonight but I have feeling Avery will overplay Stackhouse and Griffin instead.
