Oh yeah, let's not forget that he coached the '88 Lakers... In Texas we never forgave two things - the Alamo & the '88 playoffs... (well, add the '06 Finals to that list)
 I'd include his coaching stint with the Knicks, but there was no direct animosity between him & Dallas during those years [I don't care what sport it is - it's always embarassing to lose to HOUSTON!]
